Handle Scratches: Scratches may cause white lines to appear on the surface. This is typical of waxed canvas and contributes to its rugged look. To reduce the visibility of these lines, gently rub the area with your fingers or use a hairdryer on a low setting to warm the wax and redistribute it.
Wax Wear: Over time, the wax may gradually wear away, but rest assured, the color of the canvas will remain vibrant and will not fade.
Redistribute Wax: To minimize bloom or scratches, use a hairdryer on a low to medium setting. Hold it about six inches from the bag and gently heat the affected areas. This will help melt and redistribute the wax evenly, maintaining the bag’s appearance and water-resistant properties.
Avoid Machine Washing: Do not machine wash or dry clean, as this can damage the wax coating.
Air Dry Only: If the bag gets wet, allow it to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources.
Store Properly: When not in use, store the bag in a cool, dry place to preserve its quality and appearance.
